FAQ - Maxpanda to Eagle Transition

  1. What is Eagle CMMS?

Eagle CMMS is a configurable, intuitive, and scalable predictive asset maintenance management solution. From managing work orders, inventories, and assets to advanced data analytics, mobile accessibility, preventive maintenance, and task libraries – Eagle CMMS’s suite of maintenance management tools have you covered. In addition to these tools, our consulting, implementation, support, training, and administrative services can help set you up to get the most out of Eagle CMMS.

  1. Will my username and/or password change?

No. You will login with the same credentials you currently use for Maxpanda.

  1. Will my users still have access to the mobile app GoMax?

The Maxpanda mobile application GoMax will no longer work after the upgrade. After the migration is complete, any of your users who currently use the Maxpanda mobile application will need to uninstall that application and install the new Eagle CMMS mobile application that is available in the Apple App Store or Google Play. Mobile app user names and passwords will remain the same.

  1. Will access to Single Sign-On (SSO) be transferred as part of this transition?

No, your Single Sign-On (SSO) account will not transfer during the migration. As a result, we will automatically reset your user account and send you a temporary password via email. This will allow you to log into Eagle CMMS and set up SSO if you wish. Instructions for how to configure SSO for Eagle CMMS can be found in this article.

  1. Will the URL to access Eagle CMMS be different?

Yes, there is a new URL for Eagle CMMS: https://app.eaglecmms.com/.

We are however setting up redirects for the Maxpanda URL to redirect to the new Eagle CMMS.  These redirects will be in place for 6 months to give clients plenty of time to save the new URL.

  1. Will the QR code change?

Yes, there is a new QR code for Eagle CMMS. We are however setting up redirects for the Maxpanda QR code to redirect to the new Eagle CMMS. These redirects will be in place for 6 months to give clients plenty of time to save the new QR Code.

  1. I get a “File Not Found” error right after the upgrade when trying to open an attachment.  Why is that?

There are terabytes of files stored across all Maxpanda clients and transferring them to the new Eagle CMMS servers will take 1-2 days. Instead of extending the outage for the full duration of the migration, we’ve opted to restore access as quickly as possible. If a user encounters a "File Not Found" error during the migration weekend, it will be resolved by Monday, December 9. The file transfer process is expected to be completed by the end of Sunday, December 8. Once the migration is finished, the error will no longer occur. If you continue to see the error after December 9, please contact support for further assistance.
